Printmaking workshop in rural South West France…
Atelier Vernis Moo, a print workshop in the Tarn et Garonne countryside, one hour north of Toulouse
“Atelier” – from the french atelier : workshop
Atelier Vernis Moo
“Vernis mou” – from the french vernis mou : soft ground, a type of varnish used in etching
“Moo” – the noise made by a cow
On the edge of a hamlet and surrounded by pastures, fields, woods, vines and orchards, the workshop, converted from the old cowbarn at the property (hence Atelier Vernis Moo), provides facilities for intaglio, lithography and relief print techniques.
Just 40 steps across the garden from the workshop, we have two-bedroomed gîte accommodation where we can host you for printmaking retreats.

Print Retreats
For the more experienced printmaker, rent the gîte and workshop together: Come with family or printmaking friends. Explore a beautiful area of France and pursue your printmaking practice in a new environment, surrounded by nature and the rhythm of fields and forest.
