Somewhere between a printmaking retreat and printmaking residency, we offer experienced printmakers unlimited use of a dedicated printmaking workshop, along with accommodation close enough that you can make use of the workshop night or day, but still separate yourself from your work to give yourself the space to reflect.
The gîte (cottage) accommodation is available to rent from one week up to two months at a time, with unlimited 7/7 access to the workshop just 40 steps across the garden. This is an opportunity to immerse yourself in your printmaking practice, in new surroundings and without interruptions.
The location is rural. Your only distractions will come from the nature around you, and local inhabitants from the hamlet getting on with their daily lives and agricultural tasks. But this does mean that amenities are not close at hand. The nearest shops are between 10 to 15 minutes by car. We understand that this can be a problem logistically, and so are happy to give weekly or bi-weekly lifts to nearby shops and markets, and for you to see some of the local area. However if you have the opportunity to come by car or hire a car during your stay, you will feel more independent and be able to see more of this beautiful region of France.
From the table below you will see that the prices are degressive, ie the longer you stay and the more people come, the more economic your printmaking retreat. The price includes all of the following –
The Gîte
2 bedrooms, each with double bed (140cm x 200cm)
